Jamaat Ahmadiyya al Mouslemeen FRIDAY SERMON of Hazrat Amirul Momeneen Zafrullah Domun 18 December 2009 At
Bait-ul-Rahma Mosque
After reciting the Tashahhud, the Ta’uz and the first chapter Al Fatiha of the Holy Quran, Hazrat Amirul Mo’emenine, Zafrullah Domun said: Today
is the first day of Muharram 1431 of the New Islamic year. I pray and hope
that this New Year will be a year of great blessings for the Islamic
world. Next Friday will be
the last Friday of 2009. Where some people use this end of year to take
stock of their achievements during the year, others are very much involved
in what is known in common parlance as the end of the year festivities.
However in Islam nothing of that sort is expected. During the past year
the whole world has been engulfed into an economic crisis of an
unprecedented kind. Although some persons are talking of recovery, there
are many who are advising against an unfounded optimism. There are even
others who are saying that we should even beware of a new crisis. By the
Grace of Allah Around
the world and even in the most important economy of the world namely the
United States of America many people are still reeling under the
consequences of this economic crisis. Millions of people have lost their
jobs and many thousands have lost their houses as well. Although this
crisis started in Most ordinary people are not aware of what goes on in the world and they do not even have the time to care. They are so engrossed in their routine daily grind that they do not have the time or the interest to know what is going on. In this age we have lots of ways to educate ourselves about the world around us. Television, radio and the internet even the print media has a great role to play in informing us about what is going on. We all should become involved citizens and try to make the world a better place to live or at least not to leave it in a worst state than we found it. It is not my intention to give you details about all these catastrophic problems but when we see what is happening we cannot ignore what Hazrat Masih Maood, Mirza Ghulam Ahmad, the Promised Messiah and Mahdi said almost one hundred years ago. He said: "Remember, God has
informed me of many earth-quakes. Rest assured, therefore, that as
earth-quakes have shaken When
an objective student of history examines this text he will have to agree
that the prophecies contained in this text has been fulfilled almost to
the letter. Although the world knows earthquakes since time immemorial yet
the number of destructive earthquakes that have visited this
20th century has been of an unprecedented kind and they caused
a lot of havoc. Many houses were destroyed and many people died. Now these
days we have heard that quite near us in Rodrigues, tremors of minor
magnitude have been registered. Similarly recently there have been
earthquake in In the abovementioned extract writing in 1907 Hazrat Masih Maood said that “many people will die, rivers of blood will flow.” Only the First World War (1914-1918) and the Second World War (1939-1945) claimed at least 50 million victims. Never before in the world have there been wars of such ferocity and where so many people died within so short a period of time. Moreover the havoc brought about by these wars was also unprecedented. Large areas of great cities of the world were completely destroyed and had to be rebuilt. Those who lived in those periods knew poverty of a rare kind. I cannot give you all the details. But all of you should try to know the history of the 20th Century to be able to appreciate how the words that Allah spoke to His Messiah was true. Addressing
people who lived in islands he said they also were not safe. Now there are
many islands who have already been hit directly by calamities.
O Allah Do not destroy us with Thy Anger O Allah do not punish us with Thy Punishment Please protect us before it happens Let us hope that this prayer done in full sincerity might protect us at least incha Allah. As followers of Hazrat Masih Maoodas we should be really glad when we see that the words of Allah spoken to him have been fulfilled. When we see that many of the words of warning of Allah have been fulfilled we can legitimately expect that His Words of good tidings also will be fulfilled. One of these words of glad tidings was that whenever there is any need Allah will send some people from Himself to preserve the teachings of the Holy Quran. Speaking about the ways of Divine guidance he says: “There
are three ways of Divine guidance; or, in other words, there are three
means and methods. First, a lost one may find guidance through the Book of
God. Secondly, if he does not arrive at full understanding, through the
Divine Book, the light of rational evidence may point out the way to him.
Thirdly, if rational evidence should also fail to satisfy him, heavenly
signs may help him to tranquility of faith. These are the three means that constitute
Allah's eternal way for the satisfaction of His
creatures. First,
the series of Books of faith that reaches the mass of people through oral
communication and tradition. It is incumbent on the faithful to believe in
their messages and guidance. Their most perfect and authentic source is
the Holy Quran. Secondly, rational evidence, the source of which is reason
and argument. Thirdly, heavenly signs whose source, next after the
Prophets, is the Imam (Leader) of the age or the Reformer of the day. The
original source of these is the Prophets (peace be on them). But when
their miracles and signs, through the passage of time, lose their dynamic
impact, having become mere stories of the past, then God, the Supreme,
raises someone else following in their footsteps, so that the marvels of
prophethood should not be reduced to stale and ineffective fables for
succeeding genera tions and that they should also, through witnessing
Divine signs, be enabled to refresh their faith” (Kitab-al-Bariyya, pp.
25-29). This is one extract from many that shows quite clearly the belief of Hazrat Masih Maood as about the arrival of people from Allah to refresh people’s faith. Nowhere has he ever told us that Allah will remain aloof and let a system known as “khilafat” help people to refresh their faith. That is why I have been saying and continue to say that Jamaat Ahmadiyya these days is deviating from the real teachings. Who can know better than Allah that they have deviated? No one. When Allah sees this deviation He activates His System to correct it. He sends someone through revelation to show the proper way. Were He to let these mistakes go on unchecked people could have told Him on the day of resurrection that they followed their leaders. But when He sends someone with a mandate from Himself He makes it clear to the people as to whom they should follow and whom they should reject. But unfortunate as the majority of Ahmadis are they follow the same misguidance of the people who preceded them. They have preferred to follow a man-made system and consider it to be divine instead of following the real pure and true teachings which are in fact divine. Allah sends them someone so that they might not fall into the trap of those who preceded them. But, so to say they tell Allah we know better than you; what we follow is true guidance. What you send us should have conformed to our desires then we would have accepted. Had you made the caliph that we have elected for ourselves as Your Guide we would surely have followed him! But you have chosen someone whom we have rejected and so we cannot follow him because he does not have our approval although he may have yours. Our Ahmadis brothers will tell you “when have we said such words?” Of course they have not used these words. Some of their so-called knowledgeable people have said so but most of them say and believe that if their caliph were to make a declaration that Allah has made him a guide they would believe him but no one else. Unfortunately the poor Ahmadis are not aware of their own mental enslavement which makes it difficult for them to distinguish truth from falsehood. Their mind has been so enslaved that they cannot understand what is faith, what is God and even less what is khilafat. They keep rehashing what their elders told them and by so doing they have failed the test that they have been put through. I will keep telling them about their spiritual maladies with the hope that some may start thinking “What is our situation if what Zafrullah Domun says is the truth?” I hope that there will be some whose destiny is to be rightly guided who would start to question what they have been badly taught up till now. May Allah make wisdom and open-mindedness prevail over ignorance and bigotry incha Allah. I hope that the people will heed the warnings that I have given them as a follower of Hazrat Masih and an Imam from Allah before it is too late. |
